About Us

alpha Kappa Delta Phi is the first and largest, international Asian-interest sorority with 60 chapters at numerous universities across the United States and in Canada. We were first founded at the University of California, Berkeley in 1990. In the Fall of 1998, it was established at the University of Illinois at Chicago. We focus on striving to achieve our five pillars: sisterhood, leadership, scholarship, service and Asian American Awareness. With almost 6,000 sisters and still growing across the country, we strive to uphold our values by giving back to the community and the university.

Black Lives Matter

Our chapter held a social media fundraiser to raise money for Assata’s Daughters. Assata’s Daughters is a Black woman-led organization that organizes young Black people in Chicago by providing them with political education, leadership development, mentorship, and revolutionary services. Through this social media fundraiser, our sxster’s raised a total of $623.25 which was used to fund Assata’s Daughters programs to sustain the Movement for Black Liberation.
